Revology Cars is seeking a skilled Materials Planner to join our team in the automotive manufacturing sector. This role is essential for ensuring that all necessary materials and components are available to maintain a seamless production process.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Materials Planner at Revology Cars plays a critical role in managing the supply chain, focusing on the availability of raw materials and components to support production activities. This position involves creating and planning inventory schedules while fostering strong relationships with suppliers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that raw materials and components are consistently available for production needs.
  • Develop and maintain an inventory schedule based on production plans, customer requirements, and market trends.
  • Manage supplier relationships and identify alternative sources when necessary.
  • Plan, schedule, and expedite materials from vendors to meet production timelines.
  • Monitor and optimize inventory levels to reduce excess and ensure efficiency.
  • Engage in engineering change teams to support product development.
  • Oversee vendor delivery performance and compliance with production schedules.
  • Update and maintain the ERP system for accurate inventory management.
  • Coordinate on-site cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Participate actively in cost reduction initiatives for both raw materials and purchased components.
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with all departments.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and techniques.
  • Experience with ERP and MRP systems.
  • Knowledge of material handling strategies, including Just-In-Time (JIT) and KANBAN systems.
