Key Responsibilities- Process Design and Implementation: Analyze current warehouse and supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement and design more efficient production lines, workstations, and inventory management systems.

- Process Analysis and Improvement: Conduct time studies, work sampling, and process analysis to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in both production and supply chain workflows.
- Supplier Collaboration: Collaborate with suppliers to enhance the quality and efficiency of raw materials and components, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, working closely with the supply chain team to optimize stock levels, reduce excess inventory, and improve turnover rates.
- Supply Chain Efficiency: Develop and implement strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency, including vendor performance analysis and logistics optimization.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to production and supply chain teams to ensure understanding and adherence to new processes and procedures.
- Standard Operating Procedures: Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistency and quality in both warehouse and supply chain processes.
- Key Performance Indicators: Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and measure the impact of process improvements and supply chain enhancements.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in continuous improvement, quality management, and supply chain management, and incorporate them into the organization's practices and processes.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, or five years of proven experience as an Industrial Engineer in lieu of a degree.
- Project Management: Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Ergonomics and Industry Standards: Thorough understanding of ergonomics and applicable industry standards.
- Warehouse Experience: At least 1 year of engineering experience in a warehouse environment.
- CAD Skills: CAD or AutoCAD skills.
- Language: Conversational English.
- Lean Six Sigma Certification: Certification in Lean Six Sigma (e.g., Green Belt, Black Belt) or similar discipline.
- Industry Experience: At least one year of experience in the boat manufacturing/warehouse industry.
- PDCA Model: Familiar with utilizing PDCA Continuous Improvement model.
- Rhino CAD Software: Familiarity with Rhino CAD software.
