About the Role

Chenega Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Data Compliance Analyst to support the Laboratory Quality Office (LQO) in providing strategic guidance and leadership on infectious disease issues. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the operations of various centers, including the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases (NCEZID), the National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention (NCHHSTP), and the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain tools and resources, including procedures, forms, and templates, to support standardization throughout CDC ID laboratories.
  • Manage the CDC ID Test Directory (client services menu) housed on externally facing CDC servers, and provide recommendations for improving the test order directory update process.
  • Track position disposition by creating and managing a repository of content and expiration/end dates using spreadsheets, GANTT charts, and other tools.
  • Develop analysis and reporting capabilities to monitor position utilization and identify opportunities to optimize resources.
  • Examine the overall scope of the work, business objectives, and stakeholder needs to provide data-driven insights.
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure the storage, availability, and coherence of electronically stored data meets the organization's needs.
  • Benchmark practices and procedures to identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor quality assurance efforts to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and provide special ad hoc reports as needed, properly formatted to meet the needs of the end-user.
  • Ensure the information provided is consistent, timely, and accurate.
  • Develop and deploy methods and/or tools for acquiring and analyzing data from existing databases.
  • Partner with various teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop measures of performance for business process transactions to evaluate success.
  • Develop and design decision-making tools and complete detailed analysis of performance data to assist management in decision making.
  • Perform qualitative or quantitative analyses to aid in the assessment of organizational structure, performance, and demographic distribution.
  • Conduct data analyses to assess workload distribution and processing times.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • 7+ years of experience in data management and analyses.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Experience in creating dynamic dashboards, data visualizations, and working with complex queries using a structured query language.
  • Experience working within tight and multiple deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent communication skills, strong meeting facilitation skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
