Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at HealthAlliance Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in evaluating, treating, and preventing disability, injury, disease, or health conditions using physical, chemical, and mechanical means.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in physical therapy, be licensed and registered to practice in New York State, and possess current CPR certification. Previous PT experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients based on subjective and objective information obtained through interview, medical chart review, formal and informal test administration, with appropriate analysis and interpretation of results.

Develop and implement treatment plans to establish objective, measurable, functional patient-focused goals with time frames.

Administer treatment in an organized, professional manner, adhering to all department/hospital policies, best practice standards, NYS practice acts, and physician protocols.

Maintain accurate billing information and complete all required documentation for reimbursement.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in physical therapy or equivalent
  • Licensed and registered to practice in New York State
  • Current CPR certification
  • Previous PT experience preferred
