Job SummaryAs a Front Desk Agent with StepStone Hospitality Inc., you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests. Your primary duties will include registering and assigning rooms, issuing room keys, and handling guest inquiries. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of room availability and rates, computing bills, and making reservations. Additionally, you will be required to have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions, as well as good mathematical and computer skills. A high school education is required, and relevant training and experience are preferred.   • Register and assign rooms to guests
  • Issue room keys and provide directions to guests
  • Handle guest inquiries and provide information on hotel services and amenities
  • Maintain accurate records of room availability and rates
  • Compute bills and make change for guests
  • Make reservations and cancellations
  • Post charges to guest bills
  • Deposit guest valuables in the hotel safe
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions
  • Have good mathematical and computer skills
Requirements
  • Customer service experience and computer skills are required
  • Minimum lifting of 20 pounds
  • Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity
  • Hearing, writing, typing
  • Minimum pulling of 20 pounds
  • Other duties may be assigned
  • High school education required
  • Relevant training and experience and additional education preferred
  • CPR and first aid training preferred
  • Additional language ability preferred
