We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Director of Staff Development to join our team at University Heights Rehab and Care Community. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing necessary orientation, educational, and learning opportunities to our staff, ensuring they have the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to deliver exceptional care to our residents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring the activities of nursing personnel to ensure quality care that meets state, federal, and corporate standards.
  • Directing the infection prevention and control program to ensure compliance with current regulations and guidelines.
  • Ensuring all residents are treated with kindness, dignity, and respect, and their rights are protected at all times.
  • Complying with all company and departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements include:

  • 1-3 years' experience providing direct care to multiple patients/residents, preferably in a Skilled Nursing environment.
  • Nursing degree from an accredited college or graduation from an approved RN program.
  • Current unencumbered license to practice as an RN in Colorado.
  • Current, valid CPR certification.
