Key Responsibilities:
- Drive company-owned vehicles to transport breeding stock and pullets between barns, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Catch and place pullets into coops for transportation to layer barns, exercising great caution to prevent injury or stress to the birds.
- Unload breeding stock and other materials from vehicles, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to our layer barns.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- Physical stamina to perform duties involving lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Working Conditions:
This is a physically demanding role that requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to the elements. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. A valid CDL license is required for this position.
