Job Summary:

Ebenezer is seeking a skilled Nurse Care Specialist to join our team in providing exceptional care to our senior residents. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate resident assessments, implementing care plans, and coordinating health services with internal and external providers.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain current resident assessments and documentation using progress notes
  • Implement new and update current resident care plans
  • Coordinate resident health services with internal and external providers
  • Handle and supervise timely and accurate medication and treatment administration
  • Act as support to the Director of Health Services to fill in as RN on call during scheduled times
  • Monitor work and performance of licensed and unlicensed staff

Requirements:

  • Current MN RN license or by start date
  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Windows and electronic charting systems
  • Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families, and physicians or providers
  • Ability to work with and have sensitivity to the needs of the geriatric population
