Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Home Health Care Specialist. As a RN with Aveanna, you will have the opportunity to provide one-on-one patient care in a home environment, executing physicians' prescribed plans of care and documenting care provided in our system of record.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies.
- Conduct patient assessments, coordinate care, and provide health promotion, teaching, and training to family members.
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Document patient care and progress in our electronic health record system.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in good standing in the state where you will practice.
- At least 6 months of hands-on nursing experience.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to provide in-home nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents.
