As a Lead Software Quality Assurance Engineer at NVIDIA, you will collaborate with a team of passionate professionals committed to pushing the boundaries of technology.

Your role will be pivotal in assessing, developing test content, and validating our software releases, ensuring that our products uphold outstanding quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:


Formulate comprehensive test strategies and execute testing for Compute software releases across various platforms, including Tesla GPUs, NVIDIA turnkey systems, and OEM systems.

Lead CUDA release initiatives, gather automation specifications, and spearhead the creation of automation tools and frameworks.

Partner with the test development team to construct and enhance test content using C++.

Guarantee the delivery of superior software by emphasizing code coverage and maintaining automation tools and frameworks.

Contribute to the automation of manual testing processes and collaborate closely with the automation infrastructure team.

Oversee testing for cloud services, new GPU/system integrations, and CUDA releases.

Improve system performance and predictability through data analysis, while executing release and regression tests for existing CUDA functionalities.

Focus on elevating the customer experience by enhancing usability and optimizing performance.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience), with a preference for candidates holding a Master's degree.

7+ years of experience in software quality assurance and automation development.

Demonstrated experience in leading projects and collaborating across diverse teams.

Strong understanding of parallel programming, ideally CUDA C/C++, and familiarity with scripting languages such as Python.

Development experience within a test support organization.

Solid grasp of QA methodologies and cluster management.

Expertise in formulating test strategies, crafting detailed test plans, and proficiently executing tests.

Familiarity with embedded systems, Linux, Perl, Python, and bug tracking.

Proficiency in constructing test setups and strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of testing and validating large-scale cloud infrastructure and/or distributed systems.


Familiarity with various cloud technologies such as Cloud Stack, Open Stack, Mesos, Hadoop, and Kafka, as well as containerization technologies like Docker.

Understanding of virtualization infrastructure software such as HyperV and KVM.

Experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and computer vision would be advantageous.
