Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Power Electronics Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and validating power converters and power systems for our satellites. Your expertise will play a crucial role in shaping the future of space technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop kW-level power systems for our satellites, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Manage and control key components, including solar panel arrays, power regulation and distribution, and high-density batteries.
  • Integrate these systems into the spacecraft, collaborating closely with the rest of the team.
  • Assist in recruiting and hiring additional team members to support our rapid growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 0-6 years of experience in power electronics, hardware development, and PCB design.
  • Proficiency in Altium or similar PCB design software.
  • Experience with designing, building, and testing analog and digital circuits.
  • Power electronics experience and PCB design expertise.
  • US Citizenship or Green Card.

Astranis pay ranges are informed and defined through professional-grade salary surveys and compensation data sources. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors, including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, and the level and scope of the position.

Base Salary: $110,000-$140,000 USD.
