Job Title: Field Sales Representative

Are you a sales professional looking for a challenging opportunity in the energy management industry? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Sales Representative to join our team at Generac Power Systems, Inc.

Job Summary:

The Field Sales Representative will be responsible for scheduling and conducting in-home consultations with leads, building and maintaining positive business relationships with builders and real estate agents, and following up after job completion to provide ongoing support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and conduct in-home consultations with leads to discuss and demonstrate Generac's backup power solutions.
  • Build and maintain positive business relationships with builders and real estate agents to generate new leads and opportunities.
  • Follow up after job completion to provide ongoing support and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve monthly sales goals and meet or exceed sales targets.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the generator industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical codes and regulations.
  • Ability to travel daily for site visits and meetings.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
