Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish strong customer relationships to sell the right products and services
  • Understand customer needs and create confident buyers by providing complete and accurate information about our products and pricing
  • Develop key referral sources and build a network
  • Create accurate and complete sales proposals that can be easily transferred to the installation team
  • Promote our company, products, and accessories wherever possible
  • Ensure all scheduled work is performed to the customer's satisfaction and resolve any issues or problems
Requirements:
  • Must have extensive experience and product knowledge relating to the installation, service, and repair of commercial dock and door opening systems
  • Must be able to manage and prioritize several tasks and objectives concurrently
  • Must be able to handle confrontational or problematic situations with tact, sensitivity, and a calm demeanor
  • Must have mechanical aptitude and experience in door opening systems that enable the successful achievement of assigned business goals and objectives
  • Proven record of accomplishment in sales
  • Financial acumen, including the ability to determine if a job is profitable
  • IT competent, with previous experience with Microsoft Office and the latest sales applications
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good presentation and public speaking skills
  • Familiar with local codes and able to speak to company product lines
