Job Summary

Targa is seeking a highly skilled Plant Operations Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our plant facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and review plant operations to optimize quality and production of products
  • Perform routine maintenance on mechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, and valves
  • Collect and analyze data readings to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment issues and optimize plant performance
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of related midstream work experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50lbs
  • Ability to work in changing climate conditions
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in the industry or knowledge of plant operations
  • Understanding of horsepower and compression
  • Warehouse knowledge and mechanical aptitude
  • Process Safety Management knowledge
