ROLE SUMMARY

The Warehouse/Inventory Control Specialist plays a crucial role in collaborating with the Inventory Asset Manager and Job Coordinators to manage the flow of items in our rental fleet.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee inventory control and risk management processes.
  • Assist the Asset Team in organizing and relocating various components of the rental fleet.
  • Operate a forklift, ensuring compliance with licensing and certification requirements.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory and accurately record findings in the inventory management system.
  • Prepare rental packages for upcoming assignments.
  • Load rental packages into company vehicles in anticipation of scheduled jobs.
  • Perform pre-job inspections of equipment and vehicles.
  • Manage the distribution and collection of vehicle keys for technicians.
  • Inspect vehicles upon their return from assignments.
  • Handle incoming rental fleet returns and rig downs.
  • Report any shortages or damages in equipment and vehicles to the Inventory Asset Manager.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and product storage areas.
  • Assist customers with loading products into their vehicles as necessary.
  • Fulfill additional tasks as assigned by the Inventory Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse setting, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
  • Strong quality management skills.
  • Proficient reporting and analytical skills.
  • Adherence to safety policies and practices.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English; bilingual skills are advantageous.
  • Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively in a team environment and a readiness to take on new responsibilities.
  • Exemplary work ethic and team-oriented attitude.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position requires frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions and entails working in a warehouse environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this role, the employee may need to ascend and descend stairs, lift and carry weights of up to 42 lbs occasionally, 32 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs consistently. The role may also require standing, walking, stooping, or kneeling. Flexibility in work hours is essential, including potential overtime, weekend work, and holidays as operational needs dictate.
