Position: Telemarketer - Commercial Electrical Contractors

Role Summary: We are in search of a motivated and results-oriented Lead Generator to contribute to our growth. The primary focus of this role is to identify and qualify construction projects, verify their status, and gather contact information for key decision-makers. Utilizing various online platforms, you will identify potential leads for construction projects across the country. Once a lead is confirmed and the contractor or decision-maker is identified, you will pass this information to our sales team for further action. This position is essential for supporting our business expansion and enhancing our network within the commercial electrical construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead Identification: Use online resources and databases to discover potential construction projects relevant to large commercial developments requiring electrical contractor services.
  2. Lead Qualification: Evaluate each lead by understanding the project scope, timeline, and ensuring it aligns with our target market and capabilities.
  3. Project Status Verification: Conduct research to confirm the status of identified projects, ensuring they are active and at the appropriate construction stage.
  4. Contractor Identification: Identify the awarded Electrical Contractor for each project and collect pertinent contact details, including names and email addresses.
  5. Data Management: Maintain precise records of leads, project specifics, and contractor information within our CRM system.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads for follow-up and engagement.
  7. Sales Support: Assist the sales team as needed, including managing newsletters, tracking potential opportunities, and gathering feedback from clients post-project.
Qualifications:
  1. Research Skills: Strong analytical abilities to effectively identify and verify construction projects and contractor details.
  2. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with contractors and convey information clearly.
  3. Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, maintaining focus on tasks without distractions.
