About the Role

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Pasadena, TX. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing project performance, ensuring cost, schedule, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead assigned capital projects, managing engineering, design, and construction resources in the West Gulf Coast Region.
  • Develop estimates, funding request documents, schedules, and ongoing forecasts for plant-executed projects.
  • Ensure all projects receive adequate hazard and safety reviews, and that all recommendations are completed in a timely manner.
  • Provide field supervision and support during project execution.
  • Manage project safety and maintain projects on budget and schedule.
  • Ensure all projects meet the operability needs of the customer.
  • Gain a basic understanding of the operating plant environment, process, and equipment.
  • Understand quality standards as outlined by client site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Professional Engineering and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) registration is highly preferred.
  • Requires 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering and project management.
  • Capital Project, Plant Operations, or Maintenance experience.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities.
  • Self-motivated and willingness to learn.
  • High ethical standards.
  • Ability to work within and promote a teamwork philosophy.
