About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Geotechnical Senior Project Engineer to lead key client projects in our South Daytona office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing project execution, providing technical oversight, ensuring quality control, and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of geotechnical engineering projects, from initiation to completion.
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Perform geotechnical analysis and engineering calculations, utilizing industry-standard software and tools.
  • Supervise field exploration programs, interpret geotechnical data from boring layouts, utility clearances, and laboratory tests.
  • Perform technical review of engineering designs, drawings, plans, and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to junior engineers and project managers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development.
  • Assist with business development efforts through community involvement and client engagement, promoting ECS Ltd's services and expertise.
  • Promote company values, positive culture, and high employee engagement, contributing to a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a strong technical aptitude and knowledge of geotechnical principles.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to lead and develop engineering teams.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations, with a focus on ensuring compliance and quality control.
  • Business development experience, with a proven track record of success in community involvement and client engagement.
  • Required Education & Certifications: BS in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar, with a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
  • Preferred Education & Certifications: MS in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar.
