About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Geotechnical Principal to join our team at ECS Ltd. As a Geotechnical Principal, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and supporting Geotechnical staff in a branch and region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and support to Geotechnical staff in a branch and region.
  • Host or attend project meetings with clients and ECS staff to provide technical solutions.
  • Mentor Associate Principals and participate in the review committee for candidates seeking Associate Principal designation.
  • Oversee projects, perform technical report reviews, prepare and review proposals, and assist with management of the department and P&L.
  • Assist with business development and marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions.
  • Lead and coach junior staff members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar.
  • 12 years of related experience.
  • Designation as a senior reviewer at your current or previous firm.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) license in each state where you work.
  • A valid driver's license if driving for or on behalf of ECS.
