About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Director, Data Science to join our team at Humana. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive business strategy and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain advanced analytic solutions using mathematics, statistics, and data modeling techniques.
  • Collect and analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns, and create reports and presentations to support business strategy and tactics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical and operational problems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data science and analytics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
  • 6 or more years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as SAS, SQL, Python, and PowerBI.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in a quantitative field.
  • PMP certification.
  • Six Sigma Certification.
  • 2 or more years of management experience.
