About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Registration Coordinator to join our team at North Carolina Specialty Hospital. As a Patient Registration Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient registration process for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Registration and Scheduling: Greet patients and families promptly and courteously, and register them for their appointments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and communicate with patients, families, and hospital staff in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Documentation: Review and complete patient registration forms, including demographic and insurance information, in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Payment and Insurance: Collect deposits and co-pays from patients, and verify insurance coverage and benefits.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve registration-related issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: One to two years of experience in a healthcare registration or administrative role preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
