Key Responsibilities

The Complex Director of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and engaging both new and existing clientele to achieve and surpass revenue targets through various channels including phone, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Securing new group and catering business opportunities.
  • Leading a sales team and ensuring that individual sales objectives are met.
  • Communicating effectively with ownership and developing strategic action plans as necessary.
  • Creating and promoting group and catering packages regularly while supporting marketing initiatives.
  • Implementing digital marketing and social media strategies to enhance visibility and engagement.
  • Overseeing the planning and execution of events as required.
  • Collaborating with clients to prepare Banquet Event Orders that align with their objectives.
  • Assisting in various tasks as directed by senior management.
  • Documenting all sales activities in the designated sales software.
  • Utilizing the onsite reservation system for managing group bookings.
  • Providing weekend office support as needed.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel sales.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and web browsers.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work autonomously.
  • Initiative, determination, and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A professional and ethical demeanor.
  • A positive attitude and enthusiasm for the role.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities.
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to work well with others.
  • Availability to meet with clients, including weekends.
  • Fluency in English, with strong grammar and communication skills.
