Job Summary

The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) is a vital technical role at MultiCare Health System, Inc. In this position, you will perform a wide range of daily tasks from patient laboratory testing, quality control, to data analysis and technical problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and identify patient specimens
  • Determine specimen suitability and reject if necessary
  • Prepare reagents as needed
  • Perform instrument maintenance and calibration
Requirements
  • Associate degree in a related field
  • Current Certification of Medical Laboratory Technician, MLT (ASCP)CM or registry eligible
  • Current Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist Certification or eligible (if duties include phlebotomy)
  • Minimum one year of previous laboratory experience preferred

Pay and Benefits

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. The pay scale for this position is $46.87 USD, influenced by factors such as skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
