Key Responsibilities
  • Position Summary
    • The National Security Program is seeking a Military Forces Analyst with expertise in evaluating adversarial naval capabilities within the U.S. INDOPACOM area of responsibility.
  • Primary Duties
    • The Military Forces Analyst will collaborate with a team of analysts, linguists, and collectors to assess high-priority, time-sensitive materials, producing intelligence and developing sensitive analytical products to support U.S. Navy and INDOPACOM maritime operations. Specific duties include:
      • Conducting comprehensive all-source analysis, including link analysis and order of battle tracking, utilizing extensive datasets and translated open-source intelligence along with classified information through advanced analytical tools and methodologies.
      • Generating finished intelligence reports that comply with Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 203 and 206.
      • Identifying collection deficiencies to assist in managing and directing the creation of new collection requirements.
      • Addressing internal and external Requests for Information (RFIs).
      • Facilitating and participating in meetings (including classified sessions), preparing agendas, tracking action items, and distributing meeting minutes.
Qualifications
  • Education / Certifications:
    • A Bachelor's Degree in National Security, Regional Studies, or a related technical field (preferred) OR a High School Diploma with 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience
    • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Military Intelligence or within the Intelligence Community.
    • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in intelligence production (analytic tradecraft) adhering to ICD 203 and ICD 206 standards in a time-sensitive environment for the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community clients.
    • Experience where the primary responsibility involved intelligence analysis concerning the armed forces of a target nation.
    • Proven ability in effective oral communication (speaking, briefing).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).
  • Preferred Experience
    • Familiarity with intelligence analysis tools and databases (such as DataExplorer, Cultweave, Voltron, Multi-Media Message Monitor (M3), Analyst's Notebook, Quantum Leap Intelligence Exchange (Qlix), Terrorist Identities Database Environment (TIDE), and Tripwire Analytical Capability (TAC)).
  • Security Clearance
    • Top Secret with SCI eligibility required.
