Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician

The Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the inspection and repair of vehicles and heavy machinery. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ordering parts and assisting in the testing and commissioning of equipment.
  • Utilizing diagnostic tools and repair methods to identify issues with vehicles or machinery.
  • Conducting thorough inspections of equipment, engines, transmissions, etc., and performing diagnostic tests to identify functionality problems.
  • Executing repairs with a focus on achieving maximum reliability.
  • Resolving reported issues promptly and effectively.
  • Interpreting hydraulic and electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
  • Completing repair documentation that details work performed and any necessary follow-up actions.

  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift heavy objects and perform tasks that require bending, stooping, crouching, and crawling.
