Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a team of technicians on the 3rd shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and safety of our fleet and heavy equipment operations.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise a team of technicians in a maintenance shop under a Maintenance Manager.
- Oversee preventive maintenance/repair of a fleet, post-collection facility machinery, and container shop equipment.
- Ensure repairs to trucks (diesel and alternate fuel) and heavy equipment comply with safety standards and regulations.
- Plan and schedule repairs to minimize downtime and ensure safe, timely work.
- 3 years in heavy equipment maintenance.
- 1 year in a supervisory role with knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and safety regulations.
