Position Overview:

The Director of Social Media will spearhead a team dedicated to shaping the social media vision and strategy for Tubi on a global scale. We seek a creative strategist who possesses a keen understanding of the cultural landscape and has experience in channel strategy, audience expansion, and influencer engagement. This role will enhance our brand presence across all social platforms, fostering brand loyalty and distinction. The ideal candidate will innovate our promotional strategies on social media to drive viewership and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead innovation across Tubi's social media channels, staying informed on emerging technologies, platforms, and industry trends to inform strategic initiatives.
  • Grow the brand's social media following by attracting new audiences and converting existing followers into brand advocates, enhancing engagement on platforms such as Snapchat, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube, and Discord.
  • Identify opportunities to align content with real-time cultural trends and develop plans that leverage talent and encourage community-driven promotion.
  • Implement creative strategies to position Tubi within the social conversation and collaborate with influential figures and brands to maximize impact.
  • Guide and nurture a robust internal and external team focused on social community management, creative development, and talent relations.
  • Establish standardized tracking and measurement methodologies in collaboration with the analytics team.
  • Work with the International team to share best practices and provide guidance on strategies for new markets.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in social media strategy and execution for a global brand, with at least 5 years in a management role.
  • Extensive knowledge of the digital landscape and emerging platforms, particularly in marketing to Gen-Z and Millennial demographics, with hands-on experience in video platforms like TikTok.
  • Proficient in social analytics, listening tools, and automation technologies.
  • Comprehensive experience in brand identity, art direction, content strategy, development, and paid social media campaigns.
