About the Role:
Guayak is in search of a forward-thinking and strategic Social Media Manager to lead the brand's online presence. This position will be responsible for executing Guayak's social media strategy, encompassing platform oversight, channel planning, social initiatives, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of social media dynamics and a balanced creative and analytical mindset. This role will manage channel development from inception to execution, including content creation, post scheduling, and community interaction as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Guayak Yerba Mate's organic social media platforms, including but not limited to:
    • Instagram
    • TikTok
    • Facebook
    • X
    • LinkedIn
    • YouTube
    • Pinterest
    • Social boosting
  • Design and implement top-tier social strategies and programs in collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to enhance reach, engagement, and follower growth.
  • Oversee a social media calendar to coordinate posting schedules; review and approve social media content, including imagery and copy.
  • Update and maintain channel-specific social media guidelines.
  • Provide insights and perspectives in the creation of marketing campaigns.
  • Craft engaging and creative copy that aligns with the Guayak brand voice, ensuring consistency across all social media channels.
  • Execute the publication of posts and maintain awareness of social media trends to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Establish KPIs and deliver regular analytics reports to assess performance and inform strategy adjustments.
  • Foster audience growth and engagement authentically to support long-term brand health.
  • Review community engagement communications and assist in community management as needed.
  • Identify potential marketing partnership opportunities with influential figures and brands on social media.
  • Collaborate with the content team to source materials for upcoming campaigns and trending social media content.
  • Utilize social analytics tools to enhance content development strategies.
  • Monitor industry competitors to gather insights and refine social media approaches.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7+ years of experience in social media management for brands with substantial followings.
  • Extensive knowledge of social media applications, content creation, and strategic development.
  • Strong collaborative skills with multiple stakeholders to ensure optimized strategies.
  • Familiarity with social media trends and digital media news.
  • Proven track record in creative copywriting and content development.
  • A keen eye for visual aesthetics and branding.
  • Ability to think creatively while employing strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Experience with social media management tools and analytics.
  • Motivated self-starter capable of working independently.
  • Passion for community engagement and social/environmental initiatives.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays as required.
