Role Summary:
The Paint Preparation Specialist is responsible for getting products ready for the painting process. This includes cleaning, masking, sanding, and sealing products according to established guidelines. The individual will also be tasked with transporting items to the painting area.

Upon completion of the painting process, the Paint Preparation Specialist will remove all protective coverings and ensure the workspace remains organized and safe.

The ideal candidate is a proactive individual who excels at managing multiple tasks and demonstrates a strong commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in painting.


Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly cleans products to eliminate any oil or dirt.

  • Accurately marks and covers areas of the product with tape and masking materials to safeguard them during the painting process.
  • Disposes of tape and masking materials once the paint has dried.
  • Seals any gaps as needed using pneumatic and manual caulking tools.
  • Transfers products into the painting area by maneuvering them on a conveyor system or by handling loaded racks.
  • Prepares surfaces through sanding or other methods to ensure optimal painting conditions.
  • Handles paint and related materials, including hazardous waste, in accordance with safety protocols.
  • Conducts necessary quality checks and completes relevant documentation as required.
  • Disposes of paint, solvents, rags, and masking materials responsibly.
  • Performs the aforementioned tasks to facilitate the application of multiple colors on the same product as necessary.
  • Undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned.
