Job Title: Senior RF Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Systems Engineer to join our team at Communications and Power Industries LLC. As a Senior RF Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing RF systems for complex communication systems that support our nation's fundamental defense and space services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop RF systems for satellite communication systems, including antenna and satellite standards research, system specifications, engineering schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Generate cascade performance prediction analyses, including noise figure, gain, IP3, TOI, 1-dB compression, spurious response, and group delay.
  • Develop engineering documentation, including bill of materials, schematics, RF system block diagrams, test procedures, technical memos, test reports, power consumption analyses, rack layouts, and cabling diagrams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement RF technologies for complex communication systems.
  • Perform customer requirements analysis, develop system requirements, and define allocations to lower levels.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related specialized area of RF communications.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense Confidential security clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire.
