About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled RF Systems Engineer to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality proposal responses, generating technical documentation, and providing expert technical guidance to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proposal Development
    • Produce comprehensive proposal responses for Earth station antenna systems, highlighting our company's expertise and capabilities.
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our clients' needs and requirements.
  • Technical Documentation
    • Generate detailed engineering documentation, including Bill of Materials (BOMs), schematics, RF system block diagrams, test procedures, technical memos, test reports, power consumption analyses, rack layouts, and cabling diagrams.
    • Ensure that all technical documentation is accurate, complete, and meets the highest standards of quality.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Provide expert technical guidance and support to our clients, including RF analysis and trouble-shooting skills, RFI mitigation, and theoretical analysis of key antenna performance contributors.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our services and solutions.
  • Project Execution
    • Work closely with our project managers and clients to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, and develop effective solutions to ensure project success.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills
    • Strong technical expertise in RF systems engineering, including antenna systems, RF analysis, and trouble-shooting.
    • Experience with proposal development, technical documentation, and project execution.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and other technical tools.
  • Soft Skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
