Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage collaboration with relevant managers and associates in the following domains:
Production Scheduling

Inventory Management

Material Planning and Procurement
  • Oversee and coordinate with responsible managers and associates in these areas:
Shipping

Receiving

Material Handling

General Duties:
  • Design and implement supply chain strategies that align with business objectives, adapting to evolving market conditions and opportunities for cost efficiency.
  • Analyze material discrepancies, address issues, and escalate significant concerns to management for resolution.
  • Engage in root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to enhance processes and achieve plant goals.
  • Ensure adherence to customer specifications and external audit standards.
  • Examine documentation related to production, payroll, or shipping to confirm accuracy, oversee operations, and assess performance.
  • Review and enforce departmental budget targets to maintain compliance.
  • Manage key supply chain metrics to fulfill plant and company objectives.
  • Inspire and guide the production control team to meet departmental and plant targets.
  • Participate in continuous performance management activities, including evaluations and necessary corrective measures.
  • Guarantee compliance with all organizational policies, safety regulations, 5S practices, and customer requirements.
Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Preferred certification in APICS/CPIM.
Professional Experience:
  • 6-10 years of experience in production planning and material management within a plastic manufacturing or similar sector.
  • 6-10 years of prior management experience is essential.
  • Comprehensive understanding of supply chain management principles.
Required Skills:
  • Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills to effectively meet the demands of this role.
  • Exhibit strong leadership abilities to motivate and enhance team performance.
  • Proficient in relevant software applications, including MS Word and Excel.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
Work Environment:

This position primarily operates in an office setting, utilizing standard office equipment. The role also necessitates occasional exposure to manufacturing areas, requiring the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses.
