General Duties:
  • Design and implement supply chain strategies that align with business objectives while adapting to evolving market conditions, new opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Analyze material discrepancies, troubleshoot issues, and escalate relevant matters to management for resolution.
  • Engage in identifying root causes and corrective measures to enhance processes and achieve plant goals.
  • Ensure adherence to customer specifications and external audit standards.
  • Examine documentation related to activities such as production, payroll, or shipping to confirm details, monitor operations, and assess performance.
  • Review and execute departmental budget goals to guarantee compliance.
  • Manage essential supply chain metrics to fulfill plant and corporate objectives.
  • Inspire and oversee the production control team to achieve departmental and plant targets.
  • Participate in continuous performance management processes, including evaluations and necessary corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all organizational policies, safety regulations, 5S practices, and customer requirements.
Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Preferred certification in APICS/CPIM.
Professional Experience:
  • 6-10 years of experience in production planning and material management within a plastic manufacturing or comparable environment.
  • 6-10 years of prior management experience is essential.
  • Comprehensive understanding of supply chain management principles.
Required Skills:
  • Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills necessary to meet the demands of this role.
  • Exhibit effective leadership abilities to motivate and enhance team performance.
  • Familiarity with relevant software applications, including MS Word and Excel.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
Work Environment:

This position primarily operates in an office setting and routinely utilizes standard office equipment. The role will also require exposure to manufacturing areas, necessitating the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses.
