Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical trade and experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain electrical fixtures, motors, and components in accordance with specifications and electrical codes.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical system malfunctions, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Test electrical equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Inspect circuits and wiring, performing necessary rewiring and repairs.
  • Supervise and train subordinate staff in electrical systems maintenance and repair.
  • Operate light trucks, passenger vehicles, and other equipment as required.
  • Conduct inspections of facilities and equipment, making recommendations for repairs or replacements.
  • Interpret and follow architectural blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
Requirements
  • Four years of full-time experience in the electrical trade under a skilled tradesperson, or equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Successful completion of a two-year Trades Specialist (Electrician) traineeship or equivalent program.
  • New York State Motor Vehicle Operator's License by date of appointment and maintenance as a term and condition of employment.
  • Ability to perform medium to heavy physical labor and follow safety standards.
