Logistics Coordinator

As a Shipping Coordinator at Titus Precision Company, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of goods to our customers. This position involves coordinating with carriers, managing logistics documentation, and resolving any issues that may arise during the shipping process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Shipments: Arrange and monitor the shipment of products, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Documentation: Prepare, review, and manage shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs forms, invoices, and packing lists.
- Carrier Management: Communicate with freight carriers and negotiate rates to ensure cost-effective transportation solutions.
- Track and Trace: Monitor the status of shipments and update relevant parties with tracking information and delivery status.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management and cycle counts. Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Communication: Work closely with Customer Service and Manufacturing regarding shipment status, fares, delivery times, and any delays or issues that may arise.
- Fulfill Sample Orders: Assist with the fulfillment of sample orders and/or kitting orders.
- Compliance: Ensure that all shipments comply with applicable regulations, including import/export laws, safety standards, and company policies.
- Problem Resolution: Address any issues related to damaged goods, delayed shipments, or incorrect deliveries, and work with carriers to resolve these issues.
- Reporting: Prepare and maintain reports on shipping activities, costs, and performance metrics.
Requirements:
- Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including carriers, customers, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Experience with Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of Shipping Regulations: Familiarity with customs procedures, freight classification, and other shipping regulations.
- Experience with Shipping Software: Experience with shipping software or ERP systems, such as Syspro.
