Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at SCL Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating angiographic equipment and performing vascular/interventional radiography procedures to provide high-quality patient care and radiographic images.

Responsibilities
  • Operate Angiographic equipment
  • Perform vascular/interventional radiography procedures
  • Meet the needs of the patient, family, and multi-disciplinary team through effective communication, coordination, and documentation
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved radiologic technology program
  • Current ARRT (R) registration
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cross-sectional and vascular anatomy and skill in recognition of normal and abnormal variants
  • Thorough knowledge of radiation safety
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within sixty (60) days of hire
  • Current ACLS certification or the ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire
  • Current VIR certification or the ability to obtain within two (2) years of hire
  • Current RTRCV certification or the ability to obtain after hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a staff technologist
  • At least one (1) year of experience in vascular/interventional imaging
