Interventional Radiology Specialist II PRN

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Rad Spec II PRN to join our team at HCA HealthONE Rose. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing angiography, special procedures, and radiological diagnostic procedures/exams. You will operate IR equipment, prepare the room with necessary equipment and supplies, and maintain sterile technique and field.
Responsibilities- Perform angiography, special procedures, and radiological diagnostic procedures/exams
- Operate IR equipment and prepare the room with necessary equipment and supplies
- Maintain sterile technique and field
- Interact with patients, medical staff, physicians, and other hospital personnel in a professional and courteous manner
- Assure a safe patient care environment and comply with hospital policies and procedures
- Collect data and conduct quality control on equipment
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the IR Supervisor/CNC
- License: Technologist: Current ARRT (R)(CVIR)(VI) license. Current BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross RN: Current licensure in the State of Colorado as an RN, or current active multistate RN license. Current BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Education: Technologist: Graduate of an accredited radiography program RN: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN/BAN preferred.
- Experience: Technologist: 1 year diagnostic radiography experience, 1 year in hospital angiographic interventional experience preferred. RN: 2-3 years experience in a specialty unity (critical care, ED, PACU, Radiology, or Women's Health). 1 year hospital angiographic interventional experience preferred.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be familiar with the majority of IR exams/procedures with a high degree of critical thinking skills necessary for operation of equipment and patient care. Must be capable of applying technical skills to all age patients.
