Job Title: Interventional Radiology Supervisor

Denver Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Radiology Department, you will be responsible for supervising a team of Interventional Radiology technologists and ensuring the smooth operation of our imaging services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of Interventional Radiology technologists, ensuring that procedures are performed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and maintain weekly staff work schedules, prioritizing IR procedures and assigning work to subordinate staff members.
  • Administer annual performance evaluations, prepare and administer necessary paperwork, and address progressive coaching situations.
  • Coordinate with radiologists, other imaging sections, and hospital departments to ensure effective utilization of personnel and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain a clean and orderly working environment, ensuring that examination tables, linens, and equipment are properly maintained.
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and personal dignity by following appropriate patient care guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree Required
  • 1-3 years professional work experience in the role as a radiologic and/or IR technologist Required
  • 1-3 years supervisory experience preferred
  • BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA - American Heart Association Required
  • RTR-RT Radiography - ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of supervisory theory and methods sufficient to perform a variety of supervisory functions
  • Knowledge of how to operate general radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment and related technology
  • Competency in the performance of IR imaging studies
  • Knowledge of how to address age-specific care needs of patients
  • Effective interpersonal skill sets that lead to productive communications and collaborations
