Gecko Hospitality is seeking an experienced Dual Director of Sales & Marketing to lead our revenue growth strategy in Des Plaines, IL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for prospecting and closing business from market segments with 15 group rooms or more. With a passion for hospitality and exceptional leadership abilities, you will effectively solicit and book business for our properties in Des Plaines.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $120K to $150K, plus 35% bonus potential, PTO, and benefits. Our ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications and at least 4-6 years of experience in hotel sales. Brand experience is preferred, as well as familiarity with selling all market segments. Experience with Delphi, SalesPro, CVent, and Meeting Broker is also beneficial.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with the on-property team, Regional DOSM, and the revenue manager to maximize sales opportunities and revenue from existing accounts. You will prospect, quote, close, contract, and create high-level BEOs and group resumes before turning them over. We supply group and meeting membership directories such as MPI, Helms Briscoe, etc., for prospecting.

As our Director of Sales & Marketing, you will be responsible for total account development, maximizing sales opportunities/revenue from existing accounts in Delphi, SalesPro, STS, or CI that have not been prospected by an existing in-house seller in the past six months. This position requires incredible leadership abilities, a strong understanding of the hospitality industry, and excellent communication skills.
