Contract Specialist

USI is seeking a highly skilled Contracts Specialist to support PEO SOFSA's contracting activities. The successful candidate will provide support to organizations requiring contracting services, perform market research and analysis, and assist with proposal evaluations and negotiations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide contracting services to organizations as directed by the government.
- Perform market research and analysis to determine the availability of services or materials.
- Assist with proposal evaluations and negotiations.
- Support both classified and unclassified efforts.
- Administer and complete contract/task order/purchase order modifications.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University.
- 5 years of experience with Standard Procurement System (SPS) Procurement Desktop-Defense (PD2).
- Extensive experience with USSOCOM procurement policies.
- Adept knowledge of the FAR, DFAR, and SOFAR.
- Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Action Acquisition Level II Contracting certification or Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C).
- Active 'SECRET' Security Clearance.
USI offers a remote position with initial travel for onboarding required. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a multifunctional environment, supporting many customers.
