We are seeking individuals who possess a strong commitment to customer service, genuine empathy, and the drive to provide thorough resolutions.

Role Responsibilities:

As the primary contact for inquiries from current and prospective members regarding their pension plans and other financial benefits, you will:
  • Engage in one-on-one inbound phone communication with applicants, beneficiaries, and enrollees.
  • Occasionally conduct outbound calls to provide support.
  • Accurately record enrollment requests, status updates, complaints, and grievances.
  • Input application and enrollment data into a web-based system as required.
  • Maintain proficiency in technical and program policies according to client guidelines.
  • Deliver clear, complete, and objective information based on a comprehensive understanding of program requirements.

Benefits of This Position:
  • $16.00 per hour post-training (bi-weekly payment)
  • Paid Training ($15.00 per hour) with necessary equipment provided.

Training Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM for 12 weeks.

Post-Training Schedule:
Availability required between 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Prior experience in customer service and/or call center roles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and typing skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with applicants, beneficiaries, and colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills through analysis and feedback.
  • Achieve results through knowledge, empathy, and dedication.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Preferred experience in healthcare and employer benefits.
  • Willingness to successfully complete paid training.
  • Flexibility to work an 8-hour shift between 8 AM - 10 PM, Monday to Friday.

Pay Transparency Laws in certain locations may require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information. Actual salaries may vary based on various factors including location, experience, and performance. This position may also be eligible for bonuses or incentives based on business needs. Conduent offers a variety of employee benefits including health insurance, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). The estimated salary for this role is $16.00.
