Key Responsibilities
- Design intricate assembly systems that ensure accurate and repeatable placement of components, along with the active alignment and measurement of laser beam quality.
- Select appropriate robotic systems, end effectors, imaging devices, sensors, and optical components.
- Develop software solutions for the assembly and alignment of laser technologies.
- Construct prototypes, conduct thorough validation tests, and facilitate the transition of new assembly systems and methodologies to production.
- Establish dedicated setups for the testing and calibration of laser and sensing technologies.
- Create software tools for the calibration and assessment of laser devices, measurement instruments, and maintain essential data in a database.
- Ensure timely delivery of project tasks within a multi-project framework.

- Proven leadership qualities with a keen eye for detail.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Over 5 years of experience in the development of assembly systems, including precision tooling, vision systems, software development, and measurement equipment.
- Familiarity with laser safety protocols and proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience in managing projects is advantageous.
