Automation Equipment Assembler

We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join our team at Insight Global. As a Controls Technician, you will be responsible for the electrical assembly of automation equipment, working with industrial PCs, PLCs, servo motion controllers, motors, transducers, and sensors in an industrial automation environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Interpret mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic drawings, diagrams, and schematics to assemble automation equipment.
- Work with industrial PCs, PLCs, servo motion controllers, motors, transducers, and sensors to ensure seamless automation system operation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement automation solutions.
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance.
- 3-5 years of experience in building, maintenance, or installation of capital equipment.
- Strong understanding of industrial control systems, especially servo motion and robotics.
- Knowledge of common electrical sensors, including optical, pressure, vacuum, and proximity sensors.
