Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Sandvik, a leading provider of precision metrology solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom electrical systems and subsystems for our precision metrology equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical schematics for metrology equipment using AutoCAD Electrical software
  • Component specification, selection, and integration, including motors, controllers, servos, robots, power supplies, circuit breakers, cameras, lasers, filters, and sensors
  • Electrical panel design and layout (2D, 3D)
  • Implement designs that meet standards including UL, NFPA, and CE
  • Collaborate with mechanical and software groups to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems

Requirements:

  • Strong PLC experience (Siemens, Allen Bradley, or similar)
  • Demonstrated experience designing and integrating automation projects or tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements
