Application Support Specialist III

As a key member of the Application Support team at Burlington Stores, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support for our retail and corporate applications.

This includes, but is not limited to, resolving issues with Point of Sale (POS), mobile POS (mPOS), Back-Office Application Suite, Store Operation Applications, DocMGR, TimeManagement, Reporting Systems, software updates, maintenance, and deployments.

You will utilize your analytical, organizational, and technical skills to support end-users and help identify trending issues.

Working closely with Tier III support teams, you will collaborate to find meantime workarounds and permanent solutions.

As a Deployment SME, you will plan, communicate, execute, and monitor software deployments.

You will ensure that changes are properly communicated and documented in our knowledge base and execute all tasks in accordance with quality standards and technical procedures.

This position is a Hybrid role, with every other week, Wednesdays/Thursdays, and requires Holiday, weekend, and on-call coverage.

Project work may occasionally occur in the overnight hours (1AM - 7AM).

Requirements:

At least 3 years of IT/application support experience required.

Minimum 2+ years of experience supporting retail solutions, including POS and Back Office Software.

XStore (Oracle Solution) is highly preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of retail IT hardware.

Knowledge of ITIL best practices (a plus).

Knowledge of any of the following is a strong plus: retail, merchandising, allocation, replenishment, supply chain, CRM, planning, MPOS, POS, sales reporting, and system integration.

Familiarity with SQL statements, preferred.

Scripting (VBscript, MS-DOS, PowerShell) experience preferred.
