Sleep Disorders Laboratory Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Sleep Disorders Laboratory team as a Sleep Center Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling procedures, verifying patient information, and creating new patient medical records. You will also assist providers with patient consultations and follow-ups, collect co-pays, and prepare cash receipts.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule procedures and verify patient information
- Create new patient medical records and update existing records
- Assist providers with patient consultations and follow-ups
- Collect co-pays and prepare cash receipts
- Prepare and balance cash drawers
- Assist with patient education and wellness
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6 months of work experience
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of EPIC and EMR systems
This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, providers, and other healthcare professionals. You will also work closely with the Manager of Sleep Disorder Center to ensure smooth operations and patient satisfaction.
