About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Health Information Administrator to manage our patient records. This individual will be responsible for maintaining accurate and compliant records, while also performing administrative duties.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Record Maintenance
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of electronic medical records.
  • Maintain Cerner AccessHIM tool to track requests.
  • Prepare and send medical records as required.
Reporting and Compliance
  • Generate reports and submit data to relevant authorities.
  • Comply with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA Privacy Rules.
Paper Records Management
  • Manage paper medical records, including request and return from secure storage.
  • Update inventory system and perform regular physical inventories.
Administrative Support
  • Maintain professional customer service attitude.
  • Complete administrative tasks, including scanning into Cerner EHR.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Three years of experience in health information management, including release of information and medical records management.
  • EHR experience, with Cerner preferred.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Windows, MS Office, and Excel.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
