Position Overview:
A temporary Talent Acquisition Associate is sought for a duration of approximately 3 months, with the possibility of extension. This role involves managing an average of 25-40 open positions, with a target of recruiting at least 16 candidates each month. Candidates must be available to work onsite in the NYC office full-time.
Opportunity Purpose:
The Human Capital team is dedicated to ensuring individuals feel acknowledged, understood, and aligned with the organization's vision and values. We are excited to offer a dynamic opportunity for a proactive and innovative Talent Acquisition Associate. The selected candidate will play a key role in developing and sustaining a pipeline of exceptional candidates for various positions within the organization. This role reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager and collaborates with fellow Associates to attract suitable talent.
Key Responsibilities:
Relationship Management:
• Collaborate with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team to devise effective recruitment strategies.
• Foster strong relationships with hiring managers and lead recruitment initiatives for designated roles across the organization.
Data Management:
• Provide the Talent Acquisition Manager with accurate data to monitor recruitment timelines.
• Assess and track talent acquisition activities against established objectives.
• Monitor open requisitions as assigned.
Communication:
• Draft offer letters and conduct necessary pre-employment background checks, including employment verifications and reference checks.
• Utilize structured interviewing techniques to expedite the selection of top candidates and present them to hiring managers.
• Verify candidate qualifications as required for various roles.
Sourcing:
• Maintain candidate pipelines through proactive outreach and information sharing.
• Identify effective channels for job advertisements and oversee job postings.
Screening and Interviewing:
• Evaluate candidates for suitability through résumé assessments, skills evaluations, and interviews.
• Manage the applicant experience throughout the interview process to ensure a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
• Organize and facilitate post-interview feedback sessions with interview teams and candidates.
Essential Functions:
• Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods.
• Willingness to travel to recruitment events using public transportation.
Qualifications:
• BA/BS degree required.
• Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is essential.
• Minimum of three years of experience in sourcing, candidate identification, vetting, and development.
• Creativity in aligning potential candidates with current or future job openings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
