Position Summary:

The selected candidate will be tasked with soldering and assembling surface mount and through-hole electronic components on printed circuit boards. It is essential for the candidate to exhibit high-quality workmanship and possess the ability to read and interpret essential work documents such as Bills of Materials (BOMs), routers, work instructions, and technical drawings. This role is crucial in ensuring the production of superior electronic assemblies that surpass customer expectations while adhering to industry standards. Please note that due to ITAR restrictions, US Citizenship or a green card is a prerequisite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solder surface mount components (e.g., Fine pitch, SOIC).
  • Solder through-hole components.
  • Conduct visual inspections of PCBs to meet IPC-A-610 workmanship standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with electronic components including resistors, capacitors, diodes, inductors, transistors, and ICs.
  • Proven experience in soldering both surface mount and through-hole components.
  • Experience in inspecting solder work per IPC-A-610 standards.
  • Strong understanding of ESD and IPC-A-610 workmanship standards.
  • Knowledge of J Standard or Mil-cert is advantageous.
  • Ability to read and comprehend process documentation, including Bills of Materials and assembly drawings.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong component identification skills.
  • Highly organized with the capability to keep accurate counts of parts.
  • Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions.

Education:

  1. High school diploma.
  2. Associate degree (preferred).
  3. Proficiency in Excel is essential.
