Position Overview

The Final Assembly Technician at Quantic X-Microwave will engage in the assembly and testing of advanced printed circuit boards and RF components. This role encompasses the utilization of both manual and automated manufacturing tools to ensure high-quality production outcomes. The technician will be accountable for assembling, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying electronic circuits in accordance with engineering directives and client specifications. Documentation and certification of testing processes to military standards will be essential, following approved acceptance test protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct testing and modifications on products utilizing established procedures.
  • Exhibit fine motor skills, adept at handling small components and fine gauge wiring.
  • Manipulate and construct assemblies under microscopic observation.
  • Perform hand soldering of small components and fine gauge wiring.
  • Troubleshoot electronic circuits to the component level using schematics and circuit knowledge.
  • Provide mentorship and support to fellow technicians.
  • Communicate product status updates to management.
  • Ensure timely progression of products through testing sequences to adhere to production schedules.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Technical Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities; capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a solid understanding of manufacturing protocols and practices.
  • Technical expertise in electronic testing and repair theories, principles, methods, and techniques.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
